Crafting workshops
Due to a high demand of orders within the online shop as well as creative talk bookings unfortunately the workshops held at the studio have currently been on hold and I am unable to take any bookings at present.

At The making boutique we provide tuition in a selection of fun and unique workshops in order to create the perfect gift, spend time with a group of friends or simply just learn a fabulous new skill.
Classes include Fascinator workshops, jewellery masterclasses and cheeky crafting creations perfect for hen party gatherings.
Many of our students have discovered a new found love of crafting and our workshops have won various awards for " unique techniques, hospitality and for our level of tuition awarded by craft courses UK.
Our workshops are a fantastic way to spend time with crafting pals for a simple get together or for the ultimate celebration.
At The Making Boutique we have hosted many Hen Parties and Birthday celebrations within our lavish showroom which has proved to be a real hit with every one of our crafters who have all gone on to produce an array of beautiful accessories.
The minimum number for group bookings are 4 and the maximum is 12. although As a general average the number for group bookings are generally 5-6 students.
All workshops include tea, cakes and materials as well as your finished work of art to take home.

Join us in learning the effective craft of latex flower making. This 3 hour workshop will introduce students to the possibilities of the shapes which can be created from working with latex balloons and different wires and binds. In this workshop the aim will be to make a small collection of flowers and leaves which when teamed with a selection of stems and wires can be made into a beautiful bouquet for either a wedding accessory, or also set into a vase and displayed as an ornament.
This creative 3 hour Fascinator workshop will introduce students to the basic skills involved in creating their very own design. We will begin the session by learning how to make a basic fascinator base and then students will be shown various fabric flower and trimming techniques after which they will have the opportunity to embellish their very own design.
This is an absolute must workshop for cheeky hen parties wishing to add a sassy bit of naughtiness to an intriguing and fun workshop. Create your very own headdress from a pair of knickers and a stocking.! Teamed with a batch of embellishing materials including beads, buttons and trims. Come along and have stacks of naughty fun teamed with tea and cakes for the ultimate hen or celebration gathering.
Spend 3 hours within the beautiful surroundings of The Making Boutique relishing in an array of pearls, crystals, wires and stems. With the Tiara workshop you will be shown the essential techniques involved in creating a beautiful headdress, perfect for the bride to be, or as a new found skill for your creative venture. By working with threaded beading you will be shown numerous ways of creating stunning wire effects resulting in the perfect tiara design.
Learn the thrifty technique of creating fabric cuffs which can be as pretty or flamboyant as you wish them to be. Students will have access to beads, buttons bows and fabrics in order to create the stunning design of your choice. Students will be taught how to foam and strengthen the thrifty cuff base and Put their unique finishing touch to this keepsake.
Come along to The Making Boutique and learn the beautiful technique of nylon flower crafting. This is a simple yet creative workshop which welcomes all abilities. Each student is able to work at their own speed to create stunning flowers which can be made into a corsage, fascinator or table centrepiece We encourage students to be as creative as they wish to be by teaming fabrics, bead stems and textiles to create their very own work of art designed to be taken home and treasured.
